The Verde Valley Fair is always the first weekend in May...The View Motel was nice enough to give us a "discount" this year if we moved it forward one weekend, so this year, we did...

If you have never been to the New Mexico State Guzzi Rally in Datil, it is well worth the ride or journey!

YES!! 145 N. Montezuma Street!! This will be a much bigger and better shop for Jim, Matt, and team! Will go visit there soon and post some more photos. I believe they should be all moved in by the end of this month!

So are we doing a skype hookup again this year . If we could get our matter transporter working we could send you folks some hush puppies , we tried last year , apparently they ended up in Greenland instead of Arizona

Maybe...just depends if I bring the laptop or not...not sure I want to given the longer trip after Cedar Vale up to the Badlands, but I might...just no guarantees.

I am not staying overnight at The View Motel this year...mainly because I only live 30 minutes away. However, I can bring my laptop if required.

Anybody interested in sharing a Motel room with a good looking, wait scratch that, with another motorcyclist?

I am planning to come, but will have to remain tentative, so am reluctant to make a reservation for myself. If anyone is interested in sharing that would be great. My plans if I come, would be to be there Fri. and Sat. nights.

I plan to ride down from Colorado for the rally 10-11 May, but have run into a couple of planning issues.

- I prefer tent camping to a motel. The rally flyer shown on this thread recommends the Rio Verde campground. They do not have tent camping sites available. Possible alternative is Dead Horse Ranch State Park, but I'm not sure of the location relative to the rally site.

- I tried to email Mike for suggestions, but the email address shown on the flyer does not work.

Is this a motel-centric event where folks don't camp? That's fine by me, just need to plan accordingly. If tent campers are welcome, any suggestions on where a poor pilgrim might find a place to set up a tent for Fri-Sat nights close to all the Guzzi action?

Correction - - you CAN camp at the Rio Verde RV park...as people have set up a tent there before...

OK - noted and thanks...and Dead Horse State Ranch Park is really nice...and just down the road from The View Motel!
