What’s wrong with yours? If it’s just crusty clean it up and keep on truckin’ (frugal guzzi content).

If you look close, it's rather melted, likely due to running a headlight with much higher wattage than original. Sometimes it's the switch, sometimes the fuseblock, fairly uncommon to melt the terminal block. Wiring in relays will eliminate the problem entirely.

Wow, nice piece!! More technology in that unit than what’s in my Eldorado! I’m going to get my Franken Guzzi Lemans racer back on the street and that would work very well. Thanks for the heads up👍

I've got a V2 in my Loop and one in my Ducati 750 GT. Have installed V1's & V2's in 5-6 other bikes and all have worked well. Very pleased. The 'Blue' looks even better though there are a number of features that I can't imagine ever needing.

Went to Motogadget site and the V2 is no longer available, they sell the basic unit and the blue. I think the basic unit would be all I need. Good reviews on Motogadget products including the switches. Should make the Lemans look clean and modern. Thanks

I've got one of the originals in a Sfida (LM 1000 engine and running gear) and I also use one of the Motogadget switches. There stuff is not cheap BUT it works well and looks great

With the switch I did not want to drill the bars so simply ground a semi-circle on the case to route the cable out, not as neat but I hate to drill bars.

I converted the Sfida to all pushbutton switchgear, been in the bike about 8 years or so works great.

The base unit would more than meet my needs, if I had to do another

I thought the same thing until I went to the website and read the specs and features.  A basic fuse block would solve the basic question, for sure.  But the motogadget box is doing a lot more than a simple fused terminal block.  Overkill for this project, maybe, but it's a very busy little thing and if it's a quality piece, it's probably punching at or above the $300 weight.  Based on my experience of building all that stuff from scratch, having it already invented and built into that tiny package could save a bike builder weeks of design work and hundreds of dollars in parts.

$0.02

That's right, it filets, it chops, it dices, slices,
Never stops, lasts a lifetime, mows your lawn
And it mows your lawn and it picks up the kids from school
It gets rid of unwanted facial hair, it gets rid of embarrassing age spots,
It delivers a pizza, and it lengthens, and it strengthens
And it finds that slipper that's been at large
under the chaise lounge for several weeks
And it plays a mean Rhythm Master,
It makes excuses for unwanted lipstick on your collar
And it walks your dog, and it doubles on sax
Doubles on sax, you can jump back Jack, see you later alligator
See you later alligator
And it steals your car
It gets rid of your gambling debts, it quits smoking
It's a friend, and it's a companion,
And it's the only product you will ever need
Follow these easy assembly instructions it never needs ironing
Well it takes weights off hips, bust, thighs, chin, midriff,
Gives you dandruff, and it finds you a job, it is a job
And it strips the phone company free take ten for five exchange,
And it gives you denture breath
And you know it's a friend, and it's a companion
And it gets rid of your traveler's checks
It's new, it's improved, it's old-fashioned
Well it takes care of business, never needs winding,
Never needs winding, never needs winding
Gets rid of blackheads, the heartbreak of psoriasis,
'Cause it's effective, it's defective, it creates household odors,
It disinfects, it sanitizes for your protection
It gives you an erection, it wins the election

Just to bring this all back to the OP. Yes that thing is a miracle, but he needs a basic fuse block for a loop frame!  He could even "upgrade" to blade fuses for $20 bucks

I got here late - when I had to go there back around the mid-eighties, Volkswagon had something close that fit in the headlight shell with a clear plastic cover.
That's the combustion chamber of the turbo shaft. It is supposed to be on fire. You just don't usually see it but the case and fairing fell off.

Yes, it certainly has. All you asked for was a simple terminal block and folks have you replacing the fuse block.
