Can anyone remember the part# or dimensions of a V11Sport timing cover oil seal

(1/1)

NCAmother:
I will be running a V11 Sport timing cover as soon as my friend on this site can get time to work on his motor.  I am adapting the V11S cover to an 850t motor, but I don't know the part number or dimensions of the oil seal.  Any help is greatly appreciated friends.

Vasco DG:
28x38x7 make sure it's Viton and get an o ring for behind the seal tube too.

The o ring is 17.86x2.62. I'm sure you can work out something! :D

Thanks Pete, that's exactly what I needed!

Re: Viton Oil seal -
My 1200S came factory equipped with a weepy front seal option.  I ordered a Guzzi replacement AND an industrial seal from Harwall for comparison & curiosity.  The Guzzi part was downright flimsy by comparison.  Been dry as a cracker up front for 4 years.  Got the Lisle seal puller to get it out without scarring the seat.

Here's links:

Harwall seal type:  ADL
Dimensions:  22 x 35 x 7
Material: Viton

Here's a link to it on their website:

They'll refer you to a local business that either has the item in stock or that can order it for you.  For my ZIP code, they referred me locally to Motion Industries.  The factory Guzzi part # is "90412237 for the Breva 1200S  Seal- Gasket Ring 22x35x7 Vit" @ about $25 each.  IIRC the Harwall was comparably priced, and I had it in just a few days.  I bought one extra- just in case.

Thanks, I'm in a different situation, with an V11Sport timing cover and 850 crank
