New map required with homologated exhaust?
« on: May 31, 2018, 08:40:29 AM »
Yes, I know, everything is better with a new map.

However, my finger is hovering over the purchase button, for a set of Zard silencers, with cat-con. Should be plug and play, no?

Forgive the question, I'm still gettin' used to this new fangled EFI stuff. The idea of tuning my bike with a laptop just seems so damn alien to me.
Old enough to say I've done it, young enough to do it again.

It's not the cat, it's the airflow. More air=adjusted fuel.  If you're uncomfortable doing a map, let someone else do it. See what it runs like first. Hit the buy button.
