Will any V7 850 shocks work with Givi rack?
« on: January 02, 2023, 07:04:03 AM »
I have a 2021 V7 850 with Givi pannier and rear luggage racks.  Every shock manufacturer I’ve contacted states their shocks won’t work with the Givi set up.  Is anyone aware of a set of shocks that might be compatible?

The stockers are woefully under sprung for two up riding.  TIA

I had a similar issue installing Hagon shocks on a jackal with the National Cycle hard bags that were an OEM option years ago.  The solution was some aluminum spacers from McMaster-Carr.  Just moved the mounting hardwear 3/4 of an inch and that left enough room to get a wider shock body mounted.
Thought it may be the same for your bike and mountings.
