MV Agusta Brutale on BaT
« on: July 17, 2021, 06:24:46 AM »
I really like this bike.  The bidding is still holding down. I can see one in my garage in the next year or two.

I worked on MV for short period, big PIA. Parts are really packed in tight. Cool stuff though like working on Bimota's or Duc's in the 80's-
I had a video rolling on me for Bring-A-Trailer couple days ago, V7 Sport after restoration, second one in a series of 3 then we move on to LM 1. I just do what my friend wants to make thing right before sale. Usually tuning & test riding and setting bike up.

You gotta hold out for the triple cylinder version, the only bike I can say that has a prettier stock pipe than anything else on the aftermarket.

5k miles in 13 years, what a shame. Hope the new owner rides the wheels of it

Didn't you guys have one come through Rider's Hill on commission about 10 years ago?
It started out on commission up in Blairsville. Pretty sure it was owned by a woman.
CHEAP. I remember the right mirror was busted,
just hanging there. I briefly thought about it and then thought more of all the potential
headaches and moved on.

Rider's Hill was actually a dealer. Last time I was there (1yr before they closed?), they had a couple on the floor. (All triples at that time IIRC)

You must have been paying more attention to it than I.

LOL! Probably only because I saw it in town and then again at your shop. She was probably looking
for more eyeballs seeing the bike for sale. Can't blame her. Not many people would have seen it in town
though it had prime viewing in the front window.

Roger that JJ. With the titanium exhaust and extras I think that was the first bargain I’ve seen in a while on BaT.
