You have some nice touches on your V7! I especially like how you broke up the chrome with the knee pads, and the two up seat just looks more "V7 Sport" than the cafe style seat.

Beautiful pic and bike!

This was my last Guzzi acquisition.  It's an original, unrestored, 1973 V7 Sport.

That is a beauty!!

Hi everyone. This has been a long time coming, but here is some before and after shots of my 1994 Strada. I bought it 12 months ago with a view to remove the mega-ugly 90's bodywork and to do a "mild" cafe job on it - keeping it close to a classic 70s/1000S Guzzi look. I have completely stripped the bike down had the frame straightened at the rear sub-frame and repainted. Other than general clean up of a 20 year old bike I have made the following mods. Exhausts are Lafranconi Competizione. Engine is stock mid-valve 1000 with 36mm carbs. Carb jetting and needles have been uprated to account for exhausts and freer breathing air filters. Other mods include Tommaselli twin pull throttle, Lemans flywheel, new headers with Mistral stainless crossover, new coils, Tommaselli clipons, FAC fork dampers, progressive fork springs, Tec Shocks, Lemans 1 tank, Ago seat, T3 rear guard, 1000S grab rails. Whilst I was in there, main seal, all gearbox seals, steering damper, swing arm bearings and steering head bearings were replaced.

It's not quite finished with a front guard, idiot lights and side cover fastening left to go. I hope to have this thing finished in the next week. I am pretty happy with how it's turning out though.

Was this

And now looks like this

Lovely
Please post pics after you mount the front fender. I'm thinking of using the same front end on a cx100.

Many beautiful bikes here, but John, that Lemans is painted one of my favorite shades of red... absolutely beautiful.  I plan to paint my boat that color if I can ever get to it.

Got that right! I have Mike Harper to thank for that, it's his creation from 1983, I guess you could say it's "well sorted" ;D Glad you like her fellers, thanks!

I wouldn't do that to another loop, but it'd be fun to make more of a race/cafe style one with a different set of forks. Although, with Jeep bills that may be a few years away.

I'm not a fan of exhaust like that on Guzzi's either.

What do you think of the exhaust on the Coppa? I looked for one of those when I had a Scura but was un successful.

2011 Black Eagle as of 11/04/13 has 18,300 miles.

Bought her in May of 2012 but didn't actually start riding her until Sept 2012 I just couldn't wean myself away from the old 850T!

She still hasn't told me her name yet so I've just been calling her "The Black".  I couldn't stand the big cruiser handle bars & after trying 3 different sets ended up with the DanMoto clip ons.  The Windscreen works excellent.  Other mods are a Power Commander V with Auto Tune, open air box & mufflers. Added a luggage rack also.

Pic of the Helmet is with the Replay Cam.
