Here's my Norge looking over her new stablemate, a '68 V700. The '68 has all the V700 only bits, just sings at 60-65, is very comfortable, and gives you the impression it would run forever, just like the new one. Which one's best?  ;D Dunno. The red one's faster..

First Guzzi and first post.Bought the bike in Belfast and toured for a week before heading home to Scotland.A week later toured the north of Scotland. It had been a gap of about 10 years since my last bike.Really enjoyed the bike and both tours.Just had new tyres fitted and the handling has been transformed.New tacho just fitted as the last one lasted just 11000 miles.Guzzi is a 75th anniversary California.Yours Gmacz

As it is both red and silver, does that mean it is not as fast or slow as a red one or fast or slow as a silver one.
Do I join the red or silver group. ??? Feeling a bit left out.

Here's mine packed up for the trip to the Indy MotoGP last month. Did 850 miles the Thurs before the race with a 100 mile run into the speedway Fri. morning. Then the Mon after the race I did the whole 957 miles back to Newport RI. Blown tailight bulb Thurs night was the only thing that went wrong.  Presently looking for an 850t or Lemans to kill the craving for a vintage Guzzi.

'72 Ambassador "Sophia" as she looked at VMD '06. Convert engine, 850T3 transmission. Recently sold to my friend Ron Zello.

Does anyone else think that is the most wonderful color scheme out?  (Apart from the black rocker covers?)

Is it a factory scheme?

Maybe I like it because that's how the 500 Nuovo Falcone came out in australia.  I bought one...

Cheers

Trevor G

Except for the red frame, it's the factory V7 Special paint scheme. I did the frame red because of the civilian Nuovo Falcone. Most people like the (wrinkle) black valve covers (the ribs are polished and the Moto Guzzi script filled in red) - the instrument housing and generator belt cover are painted to match. Mostly, I was just sick of polishing... ;D

'96 Cal 1100i, bought new in May '96. Now has over 97,000 miles. I changed the rear wheel out to a tubeless Bassa wheel since the picture was taken a few years ago and I have square front crash bars yet to be mounted.

Quota, bought new Dec 7 1999, picture taken at this year's Nebraska Guzzi campout. Added Parabellum windshield, Gustufson side wings, strait through head pipes and Quota front crash bar.

My first Guzzi, '75 850 T, late, w/oil filter. Picture was taken the year after I bought it '78, still have the bike with new jugs (Nikasil) and pistons to be installed. Wish I had some pics of the different side cars I had mounted to it.

Oh wow.  That bike (besides the winshield and pipes) is identical to my dad's!  I fell in love with that bike and eventually led to my obsession with the whole marque.  You made my day sir!  So many memories......
