Yes, nice job on the 850 "Sport."   8) 8) 8)

You should post it FOR SALE here first , and give the members a chance to possibly buy it and keep it "In The Wind!"

As Kev m said:  "May we inquire about the details / location / asking price?" :) :)

Here is one of mine that unfortunately is going up on the block..... :'( >:(

Took a long time to build and I never ever thought I would sell it but these are some strange times!

That's a damn shame - sorry to see that.
I hope you get a good price for it.

I will do that shortly...but in another thread.  I don't want to clutter up this awesome thread with my spam.
Andy - yes, I will build another once things straighten out.  I still have a LM1 and a couple of Ex-racebike V7 Sports tucked away to fill the void.  I know that you can tell how tough this is for me because you have known this bike for a while.

And here is Rodekyll's Evil Twin, '04 CalVert, 15k:

The Evil Twin is still getting his bling on.  There will be more red and some copper metallic added to the color scheme.

That is hilarious... Everytime I mention that to people they look at me like I'm from Mars...  Don't get it I guess.

I cover mine with the registration tag... now it just reads  "Ride"...  ;)

So, yeah, where are you located...?  I'm in the Mid Coast area, Wiscasset...

Here is my 1973 Eldorado.  Only 167K miles. Bought it from Gene Jones in Eldorado Arkansas in 1996. Restored by me from the ground up in 2001.  Sadly, I've only put 13K on it in the last 7 years, but I rode the heck out of it for 5 years (until the EV came along).

Here is my 98 EV with my girls on it (in 2001).  I totaled it in 2003 on my way to the pilgrimage to Italy, Tx.  Rebuilt it that winter and put it back on the road in the Spring of 2004.  Have put 83K on it since I bought it "new" in 2000 when it had only 3K on the clock.

Your standard nekkid (well almost anyway) 1989 Cali III with 26K miles on it. Working on getting it to where I want it with updated seat, hard bags, etc. Am in search of right side cover to match, 30 or 40 liter hardbags, and the side bag mounts to fit.

Purchased from a guy in PA right?

If so, I've got pictures of it from back when it was Gray.

Nice looker BTW...

Kev
Grey? For some reason I thought it used to be red! :) I am not picky when it comes to buying a used vehicle- it is hard to find what you need in any color, but this bike looks good. I am a fan of minimalistic design and I Warrens idea of blackening out various grey/ bare alloy/ steel/ chrome pieces sits very well with me.

These are our first Moto Guzzis and the Nevada is Carols first bike ever.
I personally wanted one for a while when I was younger back in Phoenix (I spent some years there in the '70s). Tho motor cops had some Eldos and the I believe, T3s, but alas, it just wasn't in the cards. Then came real life, kids, and everything that goes with them including being broke. Let's skip forward to the present. When we shopped for a bike for my wife (we had been riding a Yamaha set up well for two which I still have), the weight and other dimensions coupled with the engine size of the Nevada brought us to our local Guzzi dealership. It was there that all coveting of the old cop bikes in Phoenix returned.
These bikes really run and in no way am I disappointed with our purchase.

Meet Luigi, my first Guzzi. Bought sight unseen off E-bay in '04, rode it back from Missouri to Oregon. I've done a bit of maintenence and mods but despite all my efforts it continues to be stone-axe dependable. A tad over 40,000 on it and still with the original Marelli coils and relays :o
