So how much does that weight now?

Last time i checked with oil no fuel 189 kg

The stock wheels are so so heavy that makes a huge difference, and the MV fork although its 50mm is much lighter then stock.

Getting rid of the injection system also helps ::)

Hi all, new here,
My Nero, "4:20". Plenty of mod's, most unseen. Ride it most every day as a "commuter" 9-10 monthes a year in N. Illinois. Just did 772 miles in just under 25 hours, avoiding all highways, till the "end burn" home, an absolute f#@*ing blast!!! I bought her sight unseen (pictures only) 3 seasons ago, having never ridden a Guzzi. I just KNEW it was for me...It's been more...

This may have been the costliest thread ever.  Too many ideas as to what to do next.  Windshield, seat, the complete horsepower upgrade (Lafranconi's, air filter, etc)

Not the purdiest bike in the thread, but the purdiest one in my garage. :)

Love at first sight:

After getting my Rich Maund seat.

Whats up with the red forks?  And would that seat fit on a LM IV?

Here are a couple of new additions to the garage.  The bumble bee California 1100 carb next to my Quota belongs to my Dad.  We've been riding together quite a bit lately, its nice.  We've been catching up on some maintenance items, only some of it in restaurant parking lots.

This next one I just pulled out of the local auto salvage yard for next to nothing.  Its an 84 LeMans III, and in pretty good shape considering.  I call her madame trash heap.

Red forks cause I didn't take the time to get them off for painting when I did the rest of the bike  :)

Maund will do a seat for any bike.  Just send him yours and he'll redo it in just about any way you want, any color combo.  Browse the pics section to see samples.

Hi
I’m Jos, 46 years old and live near Amsterdam, Netherlands.
I Registered last night as “FastFriend”
Reason:  my last name “Vriend” is “friend” in English language and I guess you know what “fast” sounds like ;-)
I found your forum by Googling V11 sport, like to check it out!

I bought my fisth Guzzi last februari, (driving Honda motorcycles since 1991)
It’s a 2001 V11 le mans, bought it with 104K km and put on 3K now (of which 2 in France last June, nice ride!)
It has some adjustments made by the last owner (exhaust, power filters and electrics) mechanically had its maintenance by a dealer and optically a little neglected (it has this bumper sticker “for intensive users only”)
Planning on some adjustments (superbike handlebars and naked look)

Ready for take off to the Vogezen France last june

I like to visit the Midwest, have done that 3 times now, just last year with my 16year old son, and in Seattle we met a guy whith this bike (Coppa Italia colour sceme)
He came from Italy and borrowed this bike from a friend in California. I never dreamd that day of owning one myself.

In 2013 I’m planning to visit the States again (50th birthday) and then I will rent /buy a motor and travel around with little luggage (and a creditcard  )

So, greetings from Holland, cu around!

Was just re-reading this.  Henry, that's a 31mph overall average.

What were you doing with all your extra time on that ride?

That should be a 12 to 15 hour run...

I little cleanup and then a polished front fork/telescope from a Nevada, and she almost looks like when she came out of Mandelleo in '92.
