That's a really nice looking V50 Tony. I'm looking forward to seeing it in person one day!

My 'new' SP III. I love it! I imported it from Netherlands and it was the 3rd I saw when I was
trying to buy it. It seems alot of these are popular to be café'd.
It will be my daily drive but not during the winter months. It is in quite good condition for 37+K.
there are some scratches in the fairings and the panniers are terrible to look at but functional. I
have a new set of fairings and tank I will refurbish and paint a brilliant red colour. Has anyone
done any painting of the original Givi bags? I'd like them in the same colour  8)

Very nice!

Ahh, the ole A6024.....know it well!

Can we get a side profile, PLEEEZZZ!! :PICS!:
This bike looks awesome.....

Hey PhillyScott....... You're not the one that influenced my 1000S purchase 2 years ago at Fast by Ferracci's Chistmas gathering???
Red plug wires and short mufflers under the rear pegs, left side bar end mirror only? Right?

We need to meet, I'm in Lancaster (PA, not England)  What do you say? I'm in Philly in 1 hour.

Yeah, that was my 1000 S at FBF a couple of years ago.

Sure, we'll have to meet sometime, as Lancaster and Philly aren't a million miles away. I ride out that way fairly often and was just through there a couple of weeks ago on my way back from Mid-Ohio.

30+ years of J bikes (long time Concours owner) and then this Griso popped up on my radar.  Love of my life said "yes, you can buy it".  So now it's in the motorcycle bay in MY garage.
So far I am absolutely loving this bike.
Everybody at work stands next to it with their jaw on the ground and says "that's what you've been talking (endlessly!) about: it's beautiful".
Hope to ride the wheels off of it and meet some other Goose pilots.

A rare glimpse at the little known Guzzi camouflage cover. Put this on your Guzzi and no one will have any idea what's underneath.....

Thanks - it's a Mark iii - 1982.  When I finish fixing the cosmetics it should look really nice.

Thanks mate - likewise, I'm looking forward to seeing your V65.  I love the concept of bringing it home in your airline baggage, what a hoot!

I've no idea when I'll get a day off to ride up your way, but it's definitely on the agenda.

My SO's Breva on the left and mine on the right (not sure why they have two different windscreens, they are both stock and are the same year??)

Thanks, I'll have to PM the original owner and ask him about it.  I sure like the looks of the stock one better.

And I'm certain that it isn't.

Nice bike Queen!
Thanks!

I just checked with the original owner and he said that's the screen that came on the bike when new.  I'm guessing the original got damaged during delivery or set up and changed out by the dealer.  Now I'm just going to have to start looking for an original.  :D

And of course you get the question:  Who makes that?

I had that happen at the airport yesterday.  I was visiting a friend's hangar and one of the techs commented "nice bike, who makes it?".  When I replied "Moto Guzzi" he returned "Is it French?"

Nice! Where'd the fairing come from?

The fairing's from Sprint Manufacturing in the UK. It was made to fit a 1000S but mounts on the Lemans with not much bother. A bit pricey but very well made and effective.

Miles.
