I just bought a very strange goose.  not so excited about the handle bars but it sure makes it look different.

A Stone actually. Front brake gives it away.

Jackal runs single disc up front to.  Was a guess just looking at the photo.  The Stone had "custom" paint on it.

You're right, but the Jackal disc is on the right, Stone is on the left. Not that it matters at all in the grand scheme of things.
That whole bike has had a new paint jobby. Taillight looks different as well.

Hi,

I introduced myself in the introduction thread.
Now it's time for my bike, my Griso 1200 8V.
The Guzzi is from 2009, I bought it August 2010 with 2200 Km on it.

This is how I bought my new love.
And as it was with driving my Harley, never a standard bike for my.
I have to build it as my own motorbike, there has to be only one (sort of).
Accessoires:
Little wind screen; Stucchi crash bar; little luggage rack; Carc crash bar; Mistral High Rise Carbon exhaust;
BMC Sport airfilter; adjusted mapping; radial brake and clutch master cylinder; special wheelstriping and some red accents.
I think that's it, at the moment.
Pictures of right and left side(without radial master cylinders).

Pictures of radial master cylinders with small fluid reservoirs.

Picture of airfilter set up and the result of a few hours work from Ruud Fredriks te Goes...

Now the dip in the original torque curve is nearly gone and Ruud got 112 Hp at the back wheel out of my Griso!!
It's a beast now, but a beast that's very pleasant to drive.
I love my Griso from top till bottom and hope to make many Km/ miles with it.

Aaaahhh, what I want to mention also...
I brought my hero home, during the 90th birthdayparty from Guzzi last September.
I had a very, very nice 2500 km countryroad trip along with friends of Moto Guzziclub Netherlands.
Here is a picture of my hero nearly in front of home,  :bow the Holy Gate in Mandello del Lario...

Sweet Anticipation! For the next few months you're going to find yourself just staring at the bike, even in the middle of the night!  ;)

I can't stop staring at it in the pictures already ;)

Thanks guys I'm really looking forward to picking it up. Although looking out of the window at the heavy snow falling at the minute I'm hoping that the British weather is going to be a bit kinder on Thursday!

Hey guys here's my '75 Convert.
It had about 9,600 miles on it when I got it. The poor thing sat unused for 22 years when I got it six years ago It took a fair bit of work to get the old girl going. All seals and gaskets were replaced and the motor and trans checked out internally. I'm in the final stretch of the second more extensive rebuild because of an altercation with a White Oak tree that fell in my path. Ouch!

as soon as the paint is dry I'll post up pictures of the finished bike.

^ One of the greatest Ferraris ever (and my personal favorite), but what's with the decal and black fascia (bra?)? Was there a "Cannonball Run"-type event going on?

The Ferrari club from Denver was having a run.  The photo was taken in Pagosa springs.  They were running bras because they had driven them hundreds of miles up in the mountains.  The meeting was random.  My group of Ducatis and Guzzis pulled into the same gas station in Pagosa at the same time as some of the Ferraris.
