Those are original miles and the reason for the switched hand grips, the others were rotten, I still have them and can prove it if you want me to take a picture of them. ;-T

Thanks!
Batter(ies) - two 4 cell Ballistics - one b/w frame rails under the tank, other just below starter.
Diode board, regulator, fuse panel, relays, etc under the seat.
Sure is alot of redundant wiring on one of these things. Future project is to cut and splice about 5lbs of wiring out, thats all coiled up under the tank right now.

Nice Mille! What brake upgrade did you do for the front? Are your brakes de-linked?

This is a great thread! Some really nice bikes to see. I was looking back on it the other day and realized that since its inception, there are some that are no longer with us. Steve Ligg from Nebraska was the pic I saw. What a good guy. Sorry, not trying to drag it down, just remembering past friends.

Hi there, 89MilleGT

No the brakes are not de-linked.

I used brake discs that i allready had, they were for a Le Mans 4 http://www.flickr.com/photos/eendje/7315584860/
A friend made a few adaptor rings http://www.flickr.com/photos/eendje/7315585068/ so the discs are in the middle of the calipers.
Last year i changed the calipers them selve, as they were affordable, bought a set of caliper <> fork adapters http://www.flickr.com/photos/eendje/7315583670/

braking is good, but in the future i think i will mount a slightly larger front mastercylinder, to give a little bit more "feel" while braking, at the moment it's more like on/off.
http://www.flickr.com/photos/eendje/7315583670/

edit: calipers are from Stein-Dinse, caliper to fork adapter are from escher, both in Germany.

I'm new here. Love this thread. Here's my little '09 V7 Classic. Perfect for tackling the inner city urban sprawl and traffic snarl-ups. Best part of my day is riding to and from work every day  ;D

Old skool polished rocker covers (IMHO much nicer than stock)
V7 Racer fork gaiters (just because...)
Staintune pipes (sweet sounding, better breathing, grrr)
Tommaselli ace bars + Napolean Baren mirrors (my 'X-wing' setup haha)

Thinking next is a custom job done on the seat, or being real sensible and shelling out for a new leather jacket.

Hehe it took me a minute to click on the novocastrian thing. Newcastle. Sure thing, I head up to Central Coast every other weekend, that's where I've got my Suzuki. Could always flog the wee goose up the road instead   :bike, message me when you fellas next plan to head out.

I bought the 1999EV in 2005, have put about 22,000 miles on it since.  The 1993 Strada came here about a month ago and I have to make an effort to roll the EV out of the garage because the Strada is so challenging to ride.  It teaches something new every time we go out the driveway.  The EV is comfortable and somehow the idea of being "comfortable" makes me shy away!

^ Awesome: Not just a Strada, but a Strada in Iowa!  ;-T I'm also diggin' the champaigne color.

Does anyone know the build number of these bikes, or at least how many were imported to the States in '93?
