Thanks! You've prompted me to dig out one of my favorite "feel good" albums to listen to when I get to the shop this morning. I hadn't thought about it in quite some time... "Rutland Weekend Songbook".

Pretty Breva by the way. Is that a stock screen with that snappy flare at the top?

It actually reminded me more of this. It adds a whole new meaning to safe sex.

Very nice set up and nice bike. It is awsome how only few changes can make difference. ;-T
I'm new here. Love this thread. Here's my little '09 V7 Classic. Perfect for tackling the inner city urban sprawl and traffic snarl-ups. Best part of my day is riding to and from work every day  ;D

Old skool polished rocker covers (IMHO much nicer than stock)
V7 Racer fork gaiters (just because...)
Staintune pipes (sweet sounding, better breathing, grrr)
Tommaselli ace bars + Napolean Baren mirrors (my 'X-wing' setup haha)

Thinking next is a custom job done on the seat, or being real sensible and shelling out for a new leather jacket.

Very nice set up and nice bike. It is awsome how only few changes can make difference.

Cheers, I reckon too, simple things that respect the bikes already good looks. Okay, it's not as powerful a bike like others I have owned, but who cares its the kind of bike where I find any old excuse just to ride it. MG knocked out a nice little classic, they'd do well to produce a 940cc big block version just to give me an excuse to buy another bike haha.

^ Awesome: Not just a Strada, but a Strada in Iowa!  ;-T I'm also diggin' the champaigne color.

Does anyone know the build number of these bikes, or at least how many were imported to the States in '93?

This machine has gotten around a little.  It was registered in Indiana in 2005 to a fellow named "Culpepper".  I bought it from a fellow in Culpeper, VA, who bought it in New York.  I sent a letter to Indiana to see if that owner had any stories to tell.  It wasn't returned "undeliverable" so I hope to hear from him.

About the color... I have heard "champagne" and "champion gold".  Anyone know which is correct?  The color is much darker in the protected area under the gas filler door.  As it is the machine is pretty close to the same color as our sedan.

Chuck in Indiana said he checked and thinks the number imported may be no more than 37.  So far I have identified five or six machines.  The highest number so far is #33, in Hawaii.  If anyone knows a Strada I'd really like to add it to the list.

There is Strada data and a chat page on Bikez.com which talk about 1994 year model but not '93.  Anyone have an idea why that would be?

Muschi

Your needing to get checked in to a Tonti De Tox center.

Cool bikes all 3 look in great condition but also well used. I am envious.

Enjoy

First bike in my second, post kid, life was the '02. Added the '81 G5 with considerable help from members of this forum. The '02 is a wonderful bike and I would ride it to New Jersey tomorrow - if riding the coast to Washington state wasn't shorter and prettier. Riding the cafe is what I imagine it would be like to be Angelina Jolie's cleavage - lot's of lookers, a few thumb's up, and some compliments at stop lights. So not me.

Here is a terrible photo of my '77 LeMans just out of storage. Amateur restoration,
Corbin seat, Mistral exhaust. I purchased this from a former USAF enlisted man
from New Hampshire who bought it in (W) Germany. RADGUZZI did some work
on it last year and will be on the road in a week or so.

Very nice first post.  Tell us about this build.

Hi
The tank is from T5,Exhaust SITO,front fender AL - handicrafts, rear fender - piece front fender 1973 Norton Commando ;)
sidewall AL - replica old cross CZ 400, Fenix mirrors in the handlebar weights,
Upper instrument panel and lights from stone - the rest of itself,
Battery - Motobatt MB18U

engine
The heads were set milled, boiled (fired spark plug)
 ,
so unfortunately did not come to fix 100% and a crack appeared in the exhaust channel  >:((So far it works without problems - 3000km ).  I have to reserve two-valve engine V65.

I have prepared a modified tank Lario

 ,
new seat sport (cafe) ala LM MK1 where I would like to hide the battery and electrical components.
Part of the parts I bought on http://www.stein-dinse.com, http://kickstarter.de/
The rest of what was found at home  :D.
sorry my English is bad and something told me to ask Mr. Google
