36 F but d*@!it, it's Spring!
« on: March 17, 2019, 10:28:34 AM »
I know because our Daffodils started blooming yesterday.

Couldn't stand it anymore and hit the road on my new V7.  No windscreen but I have heated grips.  That's almost as good, right?

I've pulled over an hour later to warm up.  What a sweet running machine even with only 150 mi on the odometer.  Really looking forward to what it feels like in another few thousand miles.

I need to adjust my pivot risers but ergos are feeling good overall.  I'm still not sure on the stock seat but lightyears better than the stock seat I had on my 2013 v7. Need a windscreen.  Might go with a different front tire sooner rather than later.  Grooved pavement makes it jumpier than I like.  Getting around 45-52 mpg right now.

Beautiful morning, beautiful ride.

Speaking of a bike  breaking in, I know it sounds crazy but my 07 CalVin didn't feel like the breakin procedure was complete until around 7k. All of a sudden around then it's like it had been running in a bind, then all at once something just released the motor, strange !
