I do a small donation every month through PayPal. Easy, out of mind and painless. Compared to what I spend on motorcycles a mere pittance. If Luap is having trouble paying the bills maybe I ought to bump it a bit. I started contributing right after I got my first Guzzi and found this site.

I'd be in divorce court if I tried in the house

I'm lucky enought to be married to a Guzzi fan. She likes them as much as I do  :thumb:

Thanks everyone. We're in good shape now.

Although our 2024 donation goal has been reached, any additional donations in 2024 will be put into the emergency fund that was mostly depleted earlier this year to fix some major issues that arose.

Thank you for your continued support, and I hope everyone has a great holiday season.

1998 is when I kicked it off. There were maybe 25 of us then.

Amazing, this was 17 years before I was converted by the mighty GRiSO.... I was an original and founding member of the XS11 forum, and hosted several rides and that was launched in 1996-97 IIRC... I was also on SAABNET for years in the dialup days. The XS Forum is still in existence, and I keep in touch with a few of the guys still. Enthusiast Forums are excellent, and the smaller niche brands, and sites dedicated to a common passion has brought real value to my love for all things motor related, and has also been a great community. I've made many acquaintances, and friends, some will be lifetime close as family, but most importantly, the comradery and support a forum like this provides.

I have really enjoyed this forum as it’s helped me learn and enjoy these amazing motorcycles. I commute on my Guzzis and can’t even begin to explain the amount of help and knowledge that has been provided. I try to continue and donate as I can and hope this site continues as I feel it would be a huge loss in knowledge and resources of entertainment and help. Thank you for keeping it going so long.

I migrated over at that time when Sheldon? shut down the Guzzi forum for health reasons if my memory is correct. And I think he was getting tired of corralling people in this type of forum.

Me, too. Frank got into a kerfuffle with the guy that ran the Topica email list.. his name escapes me at the moment although I can picture what he looked like the last time I met him at a nats.  I thought at the time that Frank had just killed his "newsletter" business because WG would have instant news, pictures, and user interaction.

My cat fell in love with the door mat, and has claimed it as his own.

I wanted a door mat, but I'm worried one of my senile little bastards will pee on it. Cat dementia is no fun, Peeing in random places any screaming at ghosts.

Same here.  I was on the first page of members too.  I lost count of the forum going down.  I think it was about 5 times.  (errors corrected)

From the Deep Deep South out in left field.  There are no stupid questions.  There are however stupid people asking questions.  🤣, this includes me.  😉

Yep, you've been here from the start Tom. Those were some pretty serious growing pains. We've came a long ways.

Guess I am a comparative newcomer; early 2002. Was still in the old bulletin board format. Display was green on black IMS?

I joined as soon as I got my Stelvio, Sep 2015, and while I don't visit very often now, this Forum is one of my main 'go-to' places for info, and I recommend others to check it out often too.

Very happy to subscribe, but I just tried, and I'm getting this . . .

PayPal issue, or site issue?

I'll try again later . . .
