I reserved at the Best Western.
Looking at coming up through E. AZ through W. NM then into UT. Don't want to go through CA or Navajo Land.
I'm leaning more towards the eastern part of the map and meet up with my former neighbor coming in from SW Kansas via Colorado Springs then up through UT and ID. Been through enough of NV and the part of CA to want to avoid it.
Coming from Seattle area, what is the best most MC friendly route to John day as there are 3 according to Waze and Goggle maps?
Those 3 routes miss almost all of the best roads. Consider these instead if you consider MC friendly as hugely twisty with great scenery Can't comment on the best way to get from Seattle to Randle, but I have suggestions all the way from Randle to John Day.Randle WA to Carson WA on paved Forest Service roads past Mt. St. Helens.Hop from Carson to Hood River OR past Mt. Hood to Shaniko OR.Shaniko to John Day on the Journey Through Time scenic byway. Lots of high desert twisties.
Marking my calander! Been a few years since I've been over that way on a bike.
