Impressive mileage on a vintage bike there Bob! You da MAN!
hmmmmmwe ran someof the same roads
Forgot to add this pic from the top of Mt. Nebo
Oark is good fellers, but you should try the catalpa general store a couple of miles past Oark. A little nicer menu imho
so now you tell us?BTW- is the road there paved? (I don't want to get my bike dusty)
The pavement stops @ catalpa, then it’s about 10 miles of road that looks about as bad as Barbara Streisand over to 65Pretty sure I heard a banjo
My phone lead me astray going to Oark. I never did find the paved county roads from the east off 21. I rode all the way around to 23 and came in from the west on 215. I had the instructions written down at one time but lost them. Next time I'll go a little further up the road and try Catalpa. Maybe come back the next day for Oark?
Mt. Zion and Lone Pine roads are the paved way between AR-21 and AR-103:https://goo.gl/maps/khaXovPNdUkDHaaw5
The road from Catalpa east takes you to AR-21.There are perpetual rumors that it's "on the list" to be paved, so AR-215 would be a through-route from AR-23 to AR-21.I really wish they'd get it done before I die. That would really add to the routing options when planning rides in the area.https://goo.gl/maps/ABMVZ6geteuYEnU36
Had a guy show up at my door running for some county office and told me that his goal was to get all the roads in the county paved.I informed him that I enjoy riding the dirt roads on my motorcycle and that he won't get my vote. I'm sure he was very surprised at that reaction. LOL!
