Says the frame is beefed up in the neck area. I would have thought the frame was strong enough - my ‘17 is rated for maximum rider, passenger and luggage weight of over 900 pounds. That’s twice as much as many bikes I’ve had in the past.

As Moto Guzzi targets a younger generation all coming from supercross, they felt it a necessary move.
Look for the Guzzi embossed cross bar pad soon to be released.
Nothing much better than a Tannat from the Salta region.

Frame flex and action is different than load capacity. The initial reviews I've seen indicate that the bike is more planted / stable at higher speeds with the reinforced head area.  I did notice a little high speed weave on my V7 III but wrote it off to as being on a lighter weight, naked bike.

also, with the added hp, you have to assume it can reach higher speeds so stability becomes more critical.  not that higher speeds are advisable, but if it can be done, they have to make sure it is safe.
