T3 Hard Bags
« on: December 22, 2018, 03:59:55 PM »
I have a set of Krauser bags and rack with what I was told is a police bracket on my newly acquired 77 T3.
I’m not sure I’m cool enough to pull off this sweet setup. Still not 100% sure I want to sell but I’m wondering if there is any interest out there?
Just putting the feelers out there.
Hope this is appropriate.

Since no one else has i will comment...the krausers are slightly less desirable in the Italian two wheel world....
Than the Wixom or guzzi G5 bags....you might find a market for them in the BMW world..

Otherwise if you don't want them on the bike try stashing them in the corner until the day comes you want to send the bike along. "Look free saddlebags..."

Photos of the "police bracket" might help generate interest.

I had Krausers on my G5 back in '90, nice bags and more useful than the Hondaline bags it came with or the originals.

They're definitely useful.

Mounted them on my Breva... Got the cases and the rack for 20 or 30€ in Italy about half a year ago. They're old, but no less functional than any other bags. Something modern would cost me 10x as much... Now I just need to fit that V65SP fairing I have lying around, and watch people struggle to determine how old the Breva is.

By the way, I always use a strap over these bags when I ride. The latch mechanisms aren't very secure in my opinion. I just put a strap around the case and around the rack, so there's no way for it to ever fall off while riding...

I have a set that I was going to put on my SP1000.  Bags in Hawaii and bike is in PHX.
