Off to historic Kearny, AZ this morning...

3 hours, 203+ miles one way on "The Yellow Horse"...nice ride up through Strawberry / Pine / Payson / Roosevelt Lake / Superior, Winkleman, AZ.    Going to visit an old work colleague, Gerry, who is now retired up there. 

Staying at the luxurious, and God-forsaken :laugh: :grin: General Kearny Inn for one night. Will file a report with photos. :thumb: :cool: :wink: :smiley:

I've been to AZ many times, but always missed Kearny, sad to say. I have been to Kearny, NJ many, many times. Can't say that I miss it, after these many many, years. Maybe next time?  R3~
ps: The lesser version? 60 yrs ago had a mobile lunch truck offering 'Pay straimy sandwiches. Gooder 'n s***.' At the time totally welcomed.

JJ & Bill's BIG ADVENTURE!!!  Kearny, AZ, April 2021...400+ miles round-trip. 

Beautiful scenery and very historic part of Arizona!!  The Copper Corridor, the Gila River, Roosevelt Lake, Roosevelt, Dam, etc., etc. :thumb: :cool: :wink: :smiley: :smiley: :smiley:

Sadly, 2020 was "The Lost Year" from many of us. 

I have had both my Moderna - shots, so this year, for motorcycle Road Trips,  I am going to make up for lost time.

Never stayed there...but whenever we rode to the San Diego area, it was always a tradition to stop and have breakfast at The Space Age Restaurant in Gila Bend, AZ.
