There's a line in Despicable Me when Gru says to Dr Nefario "Why are you so old".

For the most part we all look alike. Middle aged graybeards with thinning hair and growing bellies.

Thank you for that Pete, there's something to be said for consistency.

I find the Guzzi community to be pleasant. Especially compared to other motorcycle communities. I find more help from this forum and the guzzi community than from any volkswagen, harley or kawasaki community.

So just a thank you to all for making owning a Moto Guzzi worth it despite a poor dealer network.

As riders that makes most moto guzzi owners pretty decent people. Looks wise i can't help you....

The hardcore "Guzzisti" are delusional when it comes to reliability versus other brands.

Well I don't know about that, of the three Guzzi riders I know up here, two constantly tear their's down because "somethings just not right." The other one just rides his, but is the least user friendly, so who knows what he thinks. I must be the delusional one, cause I'm still riding a T with the original chrome bores, chain tensioner, and front disc brake.

They all seem to be drawn to "Big Jugs", almost obsessive about it.  Come to think up it, that's on the plus side.....

Guzzi riders like to walk around ,with dried food remnants in their beards, smoking those fat, stinky cigars,  drinking grappa, and farting all the time....  Oh, do they ever love to fart! They have even been known to light their farts on fire,in the wee hours of the night, after  a bit too much vino!

They can be a dangerous bunch if allowed to run amok!

I'm guessing it's it or miss.  I have bought two new Guzzi, a 99 Bassa and a 07 B1100.  Both have been more reliable, than any other motorcycle I have owned.  shrug

The being cheap part is a bit funny sometimes, but really annoying is when you tell some Guzzi riders that you never had any problems with your bike they think you are an idiot and just don't know any better...

the family atmosphere at the rallies.  it is like it was at my early bmw rallies when there were still many airheads ridden regularly.  must be the relatively simple nature of the machines attracts relatively laid back people.  my kind of folks.
