Final trike version
« on: October 04, 2019, 01:17:04 PM »
Well I finished the third and final trike version on my convert. The steering wheel adds stability for my body. I used a Vega steering box. The modifications to the fuel tank were a challenge. All three wheels are linked to the foot brake. It has a left side gas pedal. I made a bell crank for the two carbs.

It drives like a three wheeled car. I hit a big bump with the rear wheel ann felt a a little side jog at the back wheel. But my brain balance issue magnafies everything. At least I don't worry about falling over. Also I could not lock the wheels on dry pavement,I did not push as hard as I could. It broke my heart having to whack up the tank a month after blasting and painting it the first time.

This ought to be written and featured in some bike mag, maybe Jay Leno will hear of it and one day be featured on his show.
