Looks pristine. Not even run in yet. The 2TB motor loosens up at around 10,000 miles, and again at around 20,000.

That cover must have been included on the 04s. The one I bought was a one owner and he included the cover.
Anyone familiar with that?

my question would be "why" is he looking to change bikes?  15 year old bike with under 6,000 miles?  I bought a 9 year old bmw with 8,500 miles and in a year, the clutch was wet.  All that sitting is not necessarily a good thing.

He indicates "why" … intending to buy a bigger bike. Meanwhile, there are a lot of us going the other way!

So, he wants $2k for it which is why it is priced at $2390.  Should be able to get it for $1700 if he already has the larger bike picked out.

Of course as the second owner he might have realized that all the sitting from the first owner caused a lot of issues.

Good looking bike.

Chuck, others?
You infer light weight. They were 'weigh' too heavy for me when first introduced.
I wanted one badly, with bags, just like the CL bike. My most recent experience was yesterday. Having become a scrawny old bastard, in the interim, I though I was trying to move a stubborn old pig on short stilts.
I'll look at the specs. 600#'s? R3~
   BTW: VB tomorrow. 9:30am

motorcyclespecs says 503# wet. I know the right amount of air was in the tires. Smooth garage floor. My V7 3 is 470#'s; glad it isn't bulky.  R3~

Well, when it comes to weight, it's all relative...isn't it? Get off an old, Big-Block Guzzi and get on a 750 Breva and it will open your eyes.

And concerning mileage and sitting, that all depends. How was it stored? I have an '07 Breva 750 here now with less mileage than that '04, and it rides like new.
