You're very welcome!

As for going with the dual output coil - yes, there's nothing to be gained over the single output, except if you already have one or need it now and that's all you've got. Just wanted you to know that a dual output coil will work fine with single plug heads as long as the second port is run to ground. I know it works because I ran that way for a thousand miles until I replaced them with single output coils. I am curious if the dual output coil draws more amperage, set up that way, than the single.

I'm curious as well if they'd work well together.

Would be a tough sell for a single 3 ohm dual output coil NIB on Kijiji, looks like most the customers would want another matching one (dual plugged twins & 4 cyl bikes).

I'll keep my eyes open, I know something that will work will turn up.

I used a dual ouptput 78 amf harley coil on a '70 R75 and left it on there for a long time till it was sold. I knew nothing of electronic basics, then.

The airheads use two 3 ohm coils in series which adds up to a total of 6 ohms for the circuit. Something comparable in a dual output should work fine.

A friend has a Norton Commando running one dual output Dyna coil wasted spark.

So I don't see why selling one coil should be a problem. But if you find another dual output cheap - that would work too.
