« on: November 12, 2019, 06:19:20 PM »
A guy in Aus makes this dipstick tool for your V7 / V9 Guzzi
They are 3D printed in PVC fit and work very well
He will print your name or phone No on them

Quite a good gift for a Guzzi owner  Red, Black or White

They are handy to have for sure, I had a similar one when I had my V7.
I would have spent the money locally if I had been aware at the time.

Is this the original guy who sold them here about 5-6 years ago? Looks like the same design.

I have one that I keep under the seat. Very well made but nothing works as well as a pair of multi grips.

Nah the grips will f'up the stick over time. This works perfectly though I find tapping the end of the tool once lightly with a rubber mallet is the best way for me to break it loose.

That's nice. Wish I had one before I ruined the dipstick with the channel locks..

I bought one of those in 2015.  Yep, my phone number is on it.  Lives under my seat.

I sheared my cap in two using the tool and tapping it with a hammer. Multi grips may scuff the cap (could cover it with a rag) but gentle leverage is better than tapping. Won't burn your hands on the pipe either.
