Next year, Easter will be Sunday, April 5.

True some could not attend because of Easter . However , the following weekend Hewins Park is reserved for their Spring Fling , several hundred  folks attend that event so we are competing for space , the previous weekend it rained everyday , and two weeks later is Luap's deal ...so I stand by the dates . The only practical time is that weekend , and since we took a vote last year , well , there you have it .

Thanks to all for a great weekend getaway. Wasn't set right away on making it, but glad I did.

Yep, good listener , probably 'cause I had to work fri night, got back to wichita around 4am sat, hung around wichita a while then headed to CV. By the time I turned in for the night on sat/sun, I was over 24 hours with just a short nap.

Did have fun pedaling around the area.

Thanks to Dusty and Doug for the cooking, thanks to John for the tunes, that little speaker sounded great in the shelter.

Was nice to put faces with forum handles. Weather held out nicely. Not too hot or cold. Didn't get wet until almost home.

I think I can be talked into making it again next year.

Rocker made me promise to not bring this up until after the first of the year  ;D It is 24 F here with a WCF of 13 F and temp is going the wrong direction , seemed as good a time as any to talk about our little NAR in the wilds of S.E.Kansas . plus I've had a few inquiries , so ... (Rocker , edit this as necessary , thanks )
The dates this year will be  17-19 April , and of course Doug , Fubes , and I will be there Thurs the 16th so come on if cabin fever is a problem . Still refining the catfish and hushpuppie technique for outdoors , this year will be better than last  ;D
The pics here tell it all , and Guzzistajohn will repost some of his . No fee , but donations are always welcome to help Doug and myself defray the expenses . Electricity available , and we have a crude shower , but it works thanks to Doug . Plenty of firewood , and the pavillion will hold a hundred folks in case of rain . Cedar Vale is walking distance from the park , good cafe , grocery store , not much else , but the locals are friendly and seem to appreciate our presence , the young folks even open doors and call us sir and mam  :o :D Danged refreshing .
We promise a good time , and Stormtruck is our complaint dept , so if there is a problem ... ;D
Oh , and the scenery will pleasantly surprise you .

Good to live in KS. Cedar Vale, Council Grove, and possibly Chet's Woodstock.

Will be nice to get out for riding therapy once again!
