I'll watch the weather forecast.  Now that I've said that, I'd better GoogleMap it to get an idea of just how far Cedar Vale is from Hudson, Ohio!

Think of it as 3 easy days Bob , meet up with Chuck H somewhere , stop at Guzzistajohn's place in Springfield MO and rest up .

I think, if the weather was in the 50F range (maybe better), and with the Corbin saddle on the Sport, maybe a day and a half ride.  Last time I rode out that way on the R100GS, made it from home to Hannibal MO during the daylight hours of day one.  Won't ride after the sun goes down.

Keep in touch with your plans Bob.  I'm in Columbus, IN and Cedar Vale is 700 miles to the west.  That means two days in both directions for me on the bike, the days still aren't very long in late April and I don't like riding in the dark either.

I'm planning on making the get-together, Santa brought me a new tent that I want to try out and get used to using before I head west to the MGNOC National.  If the weather forecast is really bad, I'll drive the car.

or consider it a "partial 60% or 70%" Iron Butt Saddle Sore practice run!  Hope to make it...checking the calendar again vs. business travel plans etc.

True!!  That's how I'm pitching it...but works creates the paycheck that allows fun like CV to happen, so occasionally I have to give in to the master.  Not a lost cause, just beginning the juggling process!

Hey John,
Ha! The cognac I usually have I get from Cognac Fr and I miss it.
Here we drink "lion's milk" which is called Raki, its sort of milky but I am beginning to develop a liking for it. Also the Efes beer.
Love the Turkish coffee whit Baklava!

Cheers.

Got my camp-out calendar set. As far as I can tell anyway. Must be too far out for some campouts to post. But dates planned so far;

Cedarvale, Ks Apr 21-24
Council Grove Ks June 2-5
Argonia Ks rocket pasture for AIRFest 2016 Sept 1-5
MoKan rally Maysville, Mo usually falls on 3rd wkd Sept so Sept 15-18
Oklahoma camp Tallihena, Ok usually falls on 2nd wkd oct so Oct 6-9

Sound about right guys?

See ya there!

Can we fill in the calendar dates as they get posted? Regardless if its a MGNOC or NAR event? Only dates I have ? about is Mokan and Oklahoma.

I don't know anything about MoKan, but the Okie Campout is officially Saturday October 8th through Wednesday October 11th this year. I guess they're expecting more people to want to stay over than show up early. But if you arrive on the 6th or 7th, I'm sure you won't be alone.

Then again, when I was watching Predator I didn't think two members of its cast would become governors, either. So you never know.
