I should be there mid-day tomorrow.  Early afternoon-ish.  Something like that.

Will probably stop for lunch somewhere along the way.

13 of us rode to Augusta to the museum.  It's really good.  Brough, Harleys, Indian, 6 cyl Indian, board trackers, Brits, maybe 50 bikes, originals and restored +.

65 miles to get these 100 to get back on the shortcut.

All is well here.

Here are a few pictures from the new motorcycle museum in Augusta, KS. Some seriously interesting and high dollar antique motorcycles. Very well done! Sorry, I did not take any indoor shots. The antique bikes in the pictures are run regularly in the area.
The last photo was the quiant little lodge that us wimps stayed at.

I was told that I was pretty close to jail on couple of occasions.  That part Kansas is pretty wide open.  But I never saw any lawmen.

I suppose ignorance was bliss.

Our little soiree grew to 34 Guzzi riders , 2 Harley guys , 1 SOHC Honda from Ark City , 1 modern Honda , 1 local on a Suzuki , a rep from the C of C and her husband , and a wonderful dog .

We had Oregon , Washington , Missouri , Nebraska , Arkansas , Texas , Louisiana , Kansas and Oklahoma well represented , and where ever Kirby is actually calling home , Paris , Tehachapi , Rogers AR, not sure he even knows

Thanks all , great time .

Here are my random photos, with a couple of artsy processed images.

Battle Ship Row - CX100 and LM-III up to Norge.

The barn at Hewins Park with the moon rising

My V7 Special in "light touring" mode.

Daniel Kalal, PJPR01 (Paul), Guzzistajohn

The Eskimo Spy's 1200 Sport

A little campfire action

Another shot of the barn

Lowryter's EV with Casa Lowryter in the background

Dusty frying fish

One of our administrators, Chet.

Moto Freakin' Guzzi !!!  (1949/1950 Astore)

Afternoon campfire time.  Lowryter, CalVin2007,  twowings, AMGeneral, Guzzistajohn...

Guzzistajohn's LM-III with Yamaha fairing.

Michael D, Lowryter

Michael D's 1998 California EV.  As usual for a Guzzi campout, several versions of the 1998-2005 California were in attendance.  Maybe half of the bikes at the event were some version of this bike.

Several Norges at the event.  A couple of Stelvios.  A few V7 classics.  No Cal 14s this year.

and I'll finish off with FUBAR Guzzi dancing around the campfire.

Beautiful weather.  Nice venue.  Friendly locals.  A bunch of good Guzzi friends.  Life don't get much better.   :boozing:

Well, the Guzzi charm works again.  The V7 got me home after she got a fresh set of spark plugs.

Thanks to Paul, Dusty, and Dave for sticking by me, wrenching, and fetching parts.

And thanks to Doug, Dusty, and everyone else who pitched in to cook, organize, make T-shirts, and generally get this thing off the ground.

Yes , an Astore , I think Rocker just had a momentary vapor lock . The owner is an old dealer from Texas that sold Ken Hand his first Guzzi .

Wish I were closer ... not yet retired so work prevents longer rides.  One of these days, I'd like to meet Dusty and other Wild guzzi regulars.  And I love small-town America, grew up in small towns of southeast Missouri.  Been in a city my whole adult life and enjoy the occasional foray to a quieter, slower pace of life.
