Oh yeah.. I forgot to mention that little problem. :smiley: Buying a new one requires a new key, though, a PITA.

The switch that came with my T3 wouldn't turn. It was the plastic bodied one, I took it apart and after several attempts to get it back together I finally got it correct but the functions were intermittent. It went in the trash, I fitted an aftermarket switch with some modification to the housing. A whole afternoon or more I won't get back. This whole semi basket case project has gone like this. I have put this project on the back burner due to being semi burned out and other priorities due to summer. I found a running 'T' two days ago for not too much money. So my plans are to take the best of each and come up with a good looking running bike.

That’s why it was so nice to be able to get just the contact plate. Plug and play, comes with the wires and plug in, if you can find one. It’s probly “ next higher assembly “ by now unless a dealer has some stashed.
