Norge running hot after TBS and not holding TBS

(1/2) > >>

kris:
My late model Norge SEEMS to be running hotter than normal after syncing throttle bodies using both a Carbmate and a Twinmax.  After taking a test ride I rechecked the sync and it was way off, reset it, took another ride, checked it again and it was way off.  Also, connected to Guzzidiag and the temp was at 125C!  Is this normal?
Don't understand how the sync can change so drastically.
Any ideas?  Thanks, Kris

Vasco DG:
Did you re-calibrate the TPS after balancing? What proceedure did you follow when performing the TBS?

Idontwantapickle:
There is a strict procedure and a couple of important details that must be observed when servicing the throttle bodies. You might want to search for that on here or maybe read through this:

BTW what year is your Norge?

kris:
Closed the air bleed screws, started the bike, balanced the left throttle body at the bell crank(you sent me a picture), turned off the bike, reset the tps, started the bike and balanced the idle using the air bleed screw.

It's 2014.  I've read the tutorial and it should be a simple procedure.  I'll check it out again to see if I missed something.
