I understand comfort but I’d like to do it on an old school home built chopper just to say….”I did it”!  Lol
There is something to be said for that, though I chose to do it on this to dispel what my riding buddies were saying about Guzzi reliability.. She never missed a beat.

Well, you've driven me off this forum before with your wanker shite, and congratulations you've done it again.

If any other members lap up your crap, I feel sorry for them.
Ok..
‘Bye now.

I'll be there, if only to see Mr. Hoarder arrive on 2 wheels!

Last few years we've done a nice job of making Thursday's ride down an eventful one, followed by great group rides both Friday and Saturday. Sundays return trip is usually a bit more focused on destination. Expecting more of the same this year.

Feel free to stop by Cyclehoarder HQ on the way in for a break if you need it!

Thanks Guys,

I appreciate your opinions.  After thinking about it again, I believe the difference under load (and wider open throttles) would be small enough not to worry about it.  However, as my engine is not running the way I would like, I keep chasing better results the best I can.  I will update when I manage to provide some imrovements.

I vaguely remember seeing it under construction when I was in high school.

It's not the only architecturally noteworthy home in the area.  There is a Frank Lloyd Wright house on Missionary Ridge.

Are you coming to lunch on the 29th of September??

Having ridded 1000+ in 24hrs I can say I'd never attempt it on a hardtail because why start something I know I'm not going to finish and be completely miserable while doing it.

Give me the luxury of LT suspension, big fuel cell, some decent wind protection and headphones/earbuds with 20+ hours of battery life and I'm good.

I understand comfort but I’d like to do it on an old school home built chopper just to say….”I did it”!  Lol
