After today's purchase, I have my 3rd Moto Guzzi. This time it is a 2018 V7iii Milano. Following a long ride, the one issue I have with the bike is the lack of a planted feeling. Instead, the bike feels "floaty", as in disconnected from the ground. Over small bumps in the road, it felt a bit like the bike pushed me up a bit, suggesting the V7 is underdamped. Springs felt fine on both ends for my 175 pounds in gear, and at no point did I bottom out. The bike just doesn't feel lean-inspiring. So now to the $700 or less question: Can those characteristics be fixed, or is this a result of the twin shock setup? Do Ikon shocks and RT forks fix this?
