The tourist trap in Dodge City is actually kind of interesting , and there are a couple of decent restaurants there .

Well, Iím first at something in my life.  I just pulled into the park in cedar Vale Kansas.  Now to figure out where I can set up my tent?  Iíd like to set up by one of the power boxes as I need electricity but donít know if thatís allowed.  Iíll just wait to find out later.  Beautiful weather for the ride in (finally) today.  It rained hard on me every other day.

Just a heads up to everyone: don't be alarmed if I'm a bit sniffly/sneezy or get an occasional tickle in my throat that makes me cough. The tree pollen count is super high in Kansas, and it's been driving my allergies insane for the last week. I get this every year, am fully vaccinated and have no symptoms of any actual illness.

If someone has a good petcock(s) for my Square Head SPII, I would gladly buy or trade for it at Cedarvale. I just discovered the stripped screw on the right which prevents the packing from holding back the gas and it leaks out the side, so I will be riding with a dribble to the rally. I hate to be a picky beggar, but I would prefer the cast type handle and not the older style with the straight pin lever. Really just need the lower valve section.

Loctite #518 will stop the dribble.  Don't ride w/a leak in fuel!!!! I known Guzzi's that have been on FIRE !!!

I saw the post where New Goose LEVI said he was riding to Cedarvale from same starting point here in MO. I tried to PM him to join up to ride through Baxter Springs and Coffeyville, but no reply. Anybody got his contact info?

I did.  Thanks

Only issue may be that if trailer sites fill up, you may have to move. I don't think there will be that many trailers coming, though.

Got my trailer out and packing.  Should be there tomorrow afternoon.  Going to bring my Ducati.  Also, have smoked two racks of ribs and two 30 packs of PBR, tools box, air compressor, etc.  Small gas grill and RV kitchen.

OK guys ..... some pics of the rally!

Looks like your weather is holding up ok.  Here in NE Ohio, our afternoon high temps have dropped to mid 50s, and rain daily.  So, perhaps I should have joined you in Cedar Vale! (except for the ride home.)

Hope all of you are having a great time.

Wishing I was there !  I just found a weather site that looks decent https://youtu.be/-ejQn8_G0wI
Hopefully the ride home, especially in the Ohio valley will be dry for it looks like there is some heavy rain on the way.
He gets into scripture near the end but seems to have good information so far... weíll see.

Hello everyone!
It was nice meeting you all at the rally Friday. I had a great time and plan to come back next year to make a weekend of it with my wife and some friends of ours. I had planned on riding back out today but a storm system has moved into the Joplin area so I think going to stay put. That said, thank you to everyone who helped make the rally happen and the wonderful people of cedar vale for hosting us.
