true that it was a choice. I had no wireing harness, no computer etc. but if you use your mind you can do it...

Wasn't passing judgement, Troy, just mentioning that there are various ways of approaching the conversion.  :)

during their conversion, how many have reverted back to carbs., and done away with the computer?

I did when I put the Aero engine in the Lario. I wanted to save the big white mechanical tach on the Lario, so needed a tach drive. That necessitated a cam that wouldn't drive the computer stuff.
No big deal to do that, really. Dyna ignition and new 36mm carbs. <shrug>
