 My guess is the Cubs will win tonight , and Cleveland will win the series at home Tues or Wed . Of course we won't know until the last out of the deciding game . Seems I find myself favoring the Indians slightly , maybe because of their under dog status . As some consolation to Cubs fans , their team is young and following a normal trajectory to being a dominant team . The Cubs will be back , The Indians are a small market team , and probably can't afford to keep this team together . So ...

Exactly.

This years attendance at Progressive Field ranks third from the bottom in the major leagues even though they have had a winning year. Next year should be better if they win, but if things change for the worst in terms of players moving or getting hurt they may not see this walk again to the World Series for many years.

The Cubs will be back if they don't win tonight, and I will be rooting for them provided they aren't playing against the Indians. :cool:

I'm for either team because of their history & time since winning the Series but if the Cubs keep leaving bases loaded with no outs or the tying run on 3rd then it'll be another 108 years before they win the Series.

 The Cubs are a very young team , this is part of the learning process . As long as Epstein and Madden are around , they will be back .

 One thing that really stands out , the National league Cubs' pitchers look completely lost while hitting , and the American league Indians' pitchers can swing the bat  :shocked:

Cleveland would be delirious to have both the Cavs and Indians win in the same year.  Might be a good boost for the city from a morale perspective!

This is one series I can't seem to get into...no real affiliation for either team...may the better team win!
