I worked for a BSA/Ariel/Velocette dealership in Mt. Vernon NY in the early 1960s.  I recall working on a "Squarial" Mk. II.  I don't remember what the job was, but I knew enough to stay away from the Anstey Link rear suspension.  Bad as a Triumph sprung hub. I did test ride it and its torque at idle rpm was very impressive.  Beautiful bike, with all that polished aluminum.
