Soft saddlebags Breva 1100
« on: July 15, 2016, 08:51:36 PM »
I'm thinking about buying a set of soft saddlebags for my Breva 1100. I have the hardware for factory bags but dont like the look. Anybody put soft bags on a Breva? Looking for price and easy hookup.

Hepco Becker's C-Bow line, several models available, here they are on my V7II Stone.  Good for 10 pounds each side, and look nice.  These are about 21 liters or so, perfect for day trips or light touring.  Bags lock to the racks, but the bags are not locking themselves, just zippers.  Easy on/off.

Bought here, the USA HB importer.  Look for soft luggage or C-Bow.  http://www.motomachines.com

The racks, pretty low profile.

Consider a Rev-pack Tourpack.   I use it to carry all my camping gear +.  They come in 2 sizes.  I have the biggest size.  www.revpack.com   Had my tourpack, saddle packs for 20 years.  They have a lifetime guarantee.   :thumb:

If it is just the look of the OEM bags (I'm assuming the angular Aprilia units used on the Futura, and also the Norge), how 'bout Hepco & Becker Juniors?

I had the 30L ones on my Breva 1100 (now use them on my V7 Special):

Hi Brian,

Thanks.  That's a rebuild of the stock saddle by a local one-man upholstery shop in Minneapolis, MN, Vinyl-Lux.  He does lots of motorcycles, automobile upholstery customization and rehab, home and business, etc.  Top notch work.  I've written about the seat a few times here, if you search my user name you'll find those posts.

Wish I could tell you but I originally got it second hand from a forum member so I don't know either.

I'm not even sure if I remember who I got it from, maybe Flip?

Thanks, I understand, looks a little taller than the Memphis Shades Big Shot I bought from a member.

Flip was smarter than me!

http://wildguzzi.com/forum/index.php?topic=48191.0

He found that for me and it suggests it's a Memphis Shades Big Shot!

Thanks again! My shield does look like the tinted shield in the thread you last posted but does not look as tall as the one Jas67 posted. Mine does measure 19 tall.

Thanks again for the clarification.

Could it just be how high it was mounted on the OEM brackets?
