Looks like the wiring on the left side has puked "a bit"

Obviously needs a wiring harness.. :boozing: Way too much money for what appears to be a barn find. Really good bike, though.

I was looking at the behind the fairing pic thinking "whelp at least theres plenty of extra wires to get that turn signal issue sorted out"  he's got about 3 harnesses worth of wiring on there :boozing: :boozing: :boozing: :boozing:

I had to do the same thing to my old SP, but did a little neater job of it.  The problem was, though, that the copper under the insulation was green every where I looked. I had the bike in SoCal, and certainly didn't have the time to put a new harness in it, so I sold it to Eldo Jon with the admonition that the bike needed to be completely rewired. I really liked that bike, though..

Greg Bender can fix the buyer up with new harnesses.

Does this model have the chrome cylinders? About how much for a wiring harness? I have always liked the blue SP’s and I graduated HS in 1980, seems to be destiny if the price is right.

No, iron liners.

Add up the cost of the various harnesses to figure the total cost. Or email Greg and he'll send you a quote.
