Another fun ride on the Centauro
« on: May 02, 2015, 08:49:23 AM »
The new fork oil and Bridgestones seem to have really improved the ride. I think I'm done ever thinking of selling this bike. It is an absolute joy, motorcycling nirvana. Best part was having the almost 3 yo grandson press the starter button to fire the Beast to life. He jumped a bit when the Bubs fired up, but what a grin. Also got my first up close look at the yammie triple. Sweet looking bike and the new owner seemed pretty pleased with it. A silver one with the blue wheels, very sharp. He seemed to like the Beast. Two technologies old and new meeting in a gas station going different directions. Definitely a good looking bike for the money.

Thanks Phil. Every time I get the urge for something else all I need to do is take it for a ride. I guess I need a new plan. I think Cheryl's back seat days are done so I probably don't need the old stone anymore, it just looks way to good to get rid of it for what I could get for it and a lot of good memories taking my daughter to rockerbox on the back too.

Glad its making you smile Joliet!   Should have taken it to breakfast today, even Matt aka Stormsucker2 showed up from the land of pork and corn!   Your two Centaros could have rubbed there jugs together and put on a little show for us. :D

Yup, I was looking for your perky jugs at the breakfast Jim.  ;)  I rode Chucks Centy, figuring you'd have the Hawkeye Centauro there.  ~;  Ride home was fun and fast until the wind obtained  PIA strength.   Sorry I missed you there.  :food
