It's the finale of Happy Valley tonight. If you've never watched it, you're missing a treat.
I didn't watch the first two series when they were current but all the hype about the third sent me to catch up telly. They waited for seven years before filming the third so that the young lad could become a teenager.
I say "hype" but it certainly wasn't overhyped. Amazing writing, terrific acting.
And for the "Last of the Summer Wine" fans, the locations are less than fifteen miles apart, but the atmosphere is from another galaxy.
