Chamber of Commerce said that they didn't know if it would be held this year. The 2019 rally wasn't well attended. If I hear anything more I will post it.

Thanks, Moparnut72, and no worries.  I predict the overall  turn-out at Datil this year will be big.  :thumb: :boozing:    2020 was "The Lost Year" for many of us, but now that things are opening up again, I think many people want to get out and RIDE and attend rallies again. :thumb:

If this is a dealbreaker, you are welcome to do laundry at my house near Datil...or just be like JJ and me pack baby wipes for a quick whore's bath and keep on having fun! I can't recall anyone ever being Guzzi-shamed for lack of clean laundry...you can even shower at my place in case of being hygiene-challenged...it is a bike rally after all not a job interview

I suspect the comment about "I dunno...no laundry facilities..." is just a silly joke!

Handwash when you take a shower.  Undies & socks.  Your jeans and tees will have to suffer or you could do like my Uncle who use to organize gambling junkets from Hawaii to Las Vegas.  He'd wear old clothes one way and shop for new while there.  He did as an deductible tax expense.

The LM 5 is ready to go.  I just mounted some Conti Classic Attack radials.  Much smoother ride and sharper handling than a bias ply.  A number if vintage guys staying in Quemado.  Mike

Beautiful Lemans. Staying at the world famous Largo Inn. Might ride theK75S but donít want to be spat upon by the Guzzisti. Glad Iím at the Largo - shower, AC, toilets, clean linen. Can even do laundry in the shower if need be. Hopefully the prevailing wind will be from the west. If it comes from the east, we will catch a distinct biker aroma by Saturday.👃👃👃👃🙊🙊🙊

I'm flying in Tuesday before the rally to PHX.  We should start out on Thurs.  Short ride.  I don't even need a map.     The ex-neighbor will be coming in from Meade, KS area.  He estimates 6 hr. ride for him.  He doesn't need a map either.  :thumb:

That's the plan.  Haven't done that ride in a very long time.  Salt River Canyon is the other place in the U.S. where you can hit all the climate zones in a day ride.  The other place would be on the Big Island of Hawaii where I live.  :boozing:

Meade KS? 600 miles in 6 hrs.  Maybe a map would be OK?

Maybe 8hrs.  He said that he would have to check.  Simple routing 54 to 60 to 380 then 60 again.  Don't know but the 54 through TX looks boring.   :boozing:

Don't worry. They let JJ in riding a Victory Vision, which looks like a bad Buck Rogers epsiode.

I suspect this year, I will be held at the gate and have to walk in...

I think I only rode my Victory Vision (aka "The Great White Whale"), twice since 2014...and I took all the abuse and negative comments I could endure...but alas, this year....I will be riding the legendary 1998 Centauro GT to Datil for 2021....and for the POST-- era of the year...and we will be...for the second time, "Bike Camping" :thumb:   :boozing:

You could probably make the ride in 6 hours on that rocket.
