96 Cali 1100i TPS replacement?
« on: June 23, 2019, 08:57:19 AM »

Is there an after market source for a TPS for a 1996 1100 Cali i?  This is a different setup than on my EV.

Thanks

That's a good one, I don't remember what those look like, can you post some pics?

FWIW , the TPS on my 1995 Cali 1100 I was always " on the money" when I checked it and was working perfectly without any adjustments  up to the time  the bike was traded in at 60k + miles. Perhaps a bit more info is needed before it is relegated to the trash bin, given how expensive and hard to find it is.

Present mileage: 74,000 and TPS checks good. Was just thinking ahead if I needed one.

How did you set the idle on your bike? Mine has no air bypass screws under the throttle bodies..

Thanks

No Air bypass horizontally on TB's? I don't recall exactly where mine were, possibly  horizontal when viewing from  front to rear.
