Regional sections

Morning all,

Just saw the post about this site having 22000 members, With that in mind, is there any way to have regional sections within the page? For example, Im in RI, lets say we have a "New England section" within this site riders from the 6 NE states could share local information, dealer news and of course local rides, etc. Thanks!

I would be good with that idea one of my other sites that I go on it's a national site but it's broken down into sections and it works quite well that would be for Tacoma world and right now I reside in Connecticut I'm in one of those Six States

We don’t need more than one campfire. Make your own mailing list of locals.

We don’t need more than one campfire. Make your own mailing list of locals.

I agree, when the board is broken up into too many sub-sections, people gravitate to just their sub-forums. I dont think this board has enough traffic to keep 4-6 subforums rolling separately. Just look at how irritated people got from moving any discussion of 'for sale' bikes down to the swap meet. Once everything gets broken up across multiple different pages, people kinds stick in their own area and the other spots are 'out of sight, out of mind'. I like one big page with a variety of topics, viewpoints, and regions.  For instance, I would not really think to browse the AUS/NZ sub, but look how many members from there post really great and useful stuff (like Kiwi Roy, his electrical knowledge is a huge benefit to the entire site- if he just posted in the regional forum, a lot would be missed by other members)

I'm pretty active on ADVrider, but there are dozens of pages there that I would never go to. In that case it's a function of just how massive the active user base is, WG is much better because you can keep on top of all goings on in a single forum.

I'm newer here, but I like the concept of one forum.

It's always fascinating to me to here about how things
are done in other countries.

I like hearing from the Kiwis, Aussies, and Canadians.
