I'd say, clockwise when viewed from the throttle side of the bike......
Might not be bad idea to treat them like radial calipers and have caliper brackets slightly loose, spin front wheel pretty good then apply front brakes. Hold- then torque calipers. See what that does
That makes no sense at all.
Did you leave the pads in the calipers or remove and replace? If removed, they may be marginally worn differently so now rub. The rotors are designed to pulse a bit, and have some drag, so it is normal for there to be light drag in spots. Rarely will the wheel spin freely. I wouldnt be worried unless it is so tight it wont turn with effort.
unbolt the caliper from the mounting lugs.squeeze the brake lever really, really hard a few times.grab the caliper by hand.rotate the caliper perpendicular to the plane of the rotor (you are using the rotor to pry the pads apart).if there is now clearance between the pads and the rotor, the pads have backed up into the calipers and you are good to go.alternatively, you could simply push the caliper towards the disc from either side to retract the piston on the pushing side.if you can move the pistons with "hand force," I would consider it fine.Sorry you did not catch the humor the first time around.
