V85TT Heated grip button but no heat?

Maybe a stupid question but I recently bought a 2023 V85TT adventure used, it has the button for heated grips but no heated grips? Is that possible? Did they all come from the factory with the handlebar button but not the actual heated grips?

Bike is wired for the heated grips.  Bike probably doesn't have them installed.  Need to purchase as an option if that hasn't been done.

The button has also been used to control non-Guzzi heated grips.

We equipped 2 85's locally with Oxford grips off eBay. Just had to change the connectors. Both bikes are working fine.
