As the V7 III should be a new bike it came with a manual....

And if you haven´t got it, here is the link to the shop manual, it encompasses a list of the diverse service intervals. http://www.thisoldtractor.com/mg_manuals/workshop_manual_v7-iii-abs_en.pdf

For the oils, check the maintenance schedule in the owner's manual. It may be that the V7 III is different from the earlier V7's.

I don't know anyone who uses the Brembo pads after they first wear down. Yes, they generally last longer, but they are twice the price. Ferodo & EBC are the most common alternatives & their websites likely specify their part numbers for your brakes.

I'd use EBC HH. some V7III get water / moisture in the rear end. mine is one of them. it's only 5.6 oz. if I remember correctly. any 85/140 will be fine. as for the 6 speed I'd do it now there is a nylon filter up in there and it and the drain plug is a pain but if it's clean and no debris out of the ordinary it should be good for a long time. #90 weight for it.

The book for my new V85 calls for engine oil at 6K miles, tranny and rear every 18K.  All fluids were changed at the FIRST service per the recommendation of my dealer.  He suggests every 3K miles for an air cooled engine.  I’ve decided to change the engine every 3K (miles), and tranny, rear and valve adjust every 6K.

Cheap insurance.

I haven't had experience with that brand before, but they say they fit your caliper, so they'll work. I keep notes, and FWIW, the only reliable conclusions I can get from the stats is that a.) softer pads tend to wear faster than the harder ones (but presumably are easier on the rotors?), and b.) the rear pads seem to wear faster than the front ones. Otherwise the variation in wear characteristics is so large it can't possibly be statistically significant, at least over the sample of two V7s. When the pads wear out I change them. Do note that I replaced the front rotor at 171,000 km, and at 207,000 km the rear rotor is overdue.

The oils? I'd change all oils at first service (I did on both mine). Then, at least you know it's done. I tend to change the oils on the V7C early - around 5-6,000 km - as it has always used a bit of oil, but the Special doesn't, so I let it go closer to the 10,000 km mark (a convenient number, that). Older air cooler engines (like the Enfields) I change at half the recommended intervals, but then the oils they use are pretty basic & significantly cheaper.

Cam, I pretty much do the same, full fluid exchanges, valve adjust and spark plugs every 6K, except at 3K I dump the oil leaving the filter for the 6K full change.

I hope someone with experience will lend their opinion on ceramic pads.
I can only imagine less feel. lengthy warm up. serious rotor wear.  R3~

I change the oil at the manufacturer recommended intervals.

If Harley can recommend 5k oil changes on Dino juice with their head temps the rest of us probably have thousands of miles of oil life left even when we follow Guzzi's recommendation.

Hell I got a bud who put 250k on his 06 Sporty using OEM fluids and those 5k recommendations.

I've seen oil analysis on that motor and on plenty of others that show the 3k change is a thing of the past for the vast majority of ambient conditions.

But people are gonna do what makes them feel warm and fuzzy...

you use the best oil you can buy don't ya ?

Do ya feel of it when ya check it ?   you know wipe the dip-stick on your fingers and feel it .

If it feels good , then it is !    Or 10,000 miles even if it does feel good !

...................

no longer than bike tires last seems like a good time to change that  85W140 stuff.   But , none of that cheep stuff --- The BEST you can get only !
Heck , one quart is all we're talking about here anyway .
