2019 Antique Bikes On Main July 26-28
« on: July 16, 2019, 08:54:33 AM »
July 26, 27 & 28 is the 15th annual Antique Bikes On Main motorcycle rally in Chesnee, SC.  It's been a great event for many years. Sunday is the official Antique Bikes on Main, but Sat and now Fri have grown into big days as well.

It's multi marque, not HD-specific.  Theres a wide range of bikes worth seeing.  That's why the MG eagle has been part of our artwork for years, the video was done by a shop friend called Guzzi Mike, the grand Marshall this year is longtime area dealer, racer & mentor Bill Epley who sold my V7 Sport new here in Spartanburg, Dale Walksler has been named as AMCA Legends chapter's 2019 Legend of the Year and more.  Free swap meet, vendors, Prayer Ride, big fireworks, free carnival rides and much more.

If you're looking for somewhere to ride or go between now and the TN/GA meet & greet at the Greenhouse, come to Antique Bikes on Main.  It's always blazing hot but never gets rained out.  After 14 yrs, this the first one I'm not producing.    I'll be there with my Guzzis on display, actually relaxing for a change....  It would be great to meet any WG people. Contact me beforehand or ask for Button.

For more info, Website is www.AntiqueBikesOnMain.com and video is https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=PPk1lqQQ1gk. Hope to see you there.

I wish I wasn't already double-booked that weekend, I'd love to come down for it. I bought my Ambo from Guzzi Mike and I spent a weekend at his place working with him to re-marry the sidecar to the bike. He also gave me a DVD copy of the video and urged me to come down for the event someday.
'70 Ambo, w/ International (I think) sidecar, '63 Triumph TR4, '67 Datsun 1600, '81 DeLorean, '53 Packard, '85 Jag XJS, '97 Pontiac Firebird, '87 Pontiac Fiero. Most of which are half-functional derelicts.
