Dynamite
Sawzall

 :boozing:

Real pain isn't it.

Remove battery. Charcoal canister if you have that. Gas tank. Lid and filter. Air tubes between the box and throttle bodies. Crankcase vent line between the two air tubes. The drain tube on the starter side. You may need to get the speedo cable out of the way also. Now, fight and cuss as you pry it out.

Here is the one out of my Breva 750. It's available to anybody who wants it. Some assembly may be required.

Apparently I am doing it right.
Am excited with the thought of putting it back in.
if I go the antman route, is there a reasonable alternative to the stock setup, or am I going to spend a good chunk of my retirement fighting with it?
Or , better yet, is this fun?

Interesting. Dealing with the airbox is definitely some built-in ambivalence.
No one is saying anything, so 1) people think it is way out in left field and wouldn't consider it, 2) people think the science doesn't work, or 3) it's OK, but it ain't stock.
Will send PM.
