Chances are, though, he's reading all the posts anyway.

I checked, and I've posted in 14 of the 40 topics on the first page of threads listed, and 13 of 40 of the page before, so I'm at about 30%.   Not quite every thread, so someone else will have to take the lick for this one ....

I don't post unless I've actually turned a wrench on the topic at hand.  I try to read and learn, but the posers just get there, muck up the thread (because they've never done anything even related to the thread), and get ignored.

Understandably a good, conservative way to handle it.

But, you said you try to read and learn right?

So would you ever share what you've learned from that reading?

Is knowledge learned by research less valuable?

Isn't that the very basis of most forms of education (other than perhaps apprenticeship)?

"Hosers"?  In Oklahoma?  I thought that was a western Canada condition.

Most of you are OK in my book.  I just get frustrated by the FOD in a lot of threads.  I haven't posted here for some time and you've managed to suck me in.  I'll go crawl back under a rock and keep my mouth shut.
